Monty Halls
One of the UK's leading explorers, Monty Halls has been diving worldwide since 1984. An expedition leader, marine biologist and former Royal Marine's Officer, for the past ten years he has led teams of divers around the world including a multi-national team to remote south east India to locate the ruins of a lost civilization beneath the sea—a discovery which resounded around the globe—and two epic circumnavigations of the world to explore the world's greatest dives (2002) and ten of the world's greatest shipwreck dives (2003).  In 2003 he was awarded the Bish Medal by the Scientific Exploration Society for achievements in exploration.

A regular contributor to UK Diver magazine, Monty has also written for BBC Wildlife Magazine as well as numerous other travel-related publications. He has also presented a number of television programs on Britain's Channel 4, Sky TV and National Geographic Channel as well as winning the Channel 4 flagship program ‘Super Humans’ in 2004.
